Pet tracking collars

Pet tracking collars use built-in GPS modules to track their owners 'pets' locations, with real-time updates delivered to owners via mobile apps or other devices. The pet tracker collar also features an electronic fence. When the pet steps outside the preset safe zone, the device automatically activates an alarm to alert the owner.

As an intelligent device integrating wireless communication, battery power, and wearable design, it must undergo multiple testing and certifications before market launch or export to ensure safety, functional compliance, and market access qualification.
To join the EU, products must obtain CE certification, which is governed by multiple directives:

RED Wireless Device Directive (EN 300 328): For collars with wireless features including GPS, Bluetooth, and 4G, ensuring RF compliance.
LVD Low Voltage Directive (EN 62368-1): Ensures battery charging and circuit design safety, preventing overheating or short circuits.
EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Directive (EN 55032/55035): The control device must manage its own interference and maintain anti-interference capability.
REACH and RoHS environmental directives:
REACH mandates the detection of SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern), with a maximum content of 0.1%.
RoHS restricts the use of harmful substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, and applies to electronic components.
Upon obtaining certification, the CE mark must be affixed and a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) must be prepared.
All electronic wireless devices must obtain FCC certification to enter the United States.
FCC ID certification: This applies to collars with GPS, 4G, Bluetooth, and other transmission capabilities. They must undergo RF parameter testing, including radiation emission, frequency stability, and harmonic suppression, to ensure compliance with FCC Part 15.209 and other relevant regulations.
SDoC statement: Simplified procedure may apply if the device's wireless power is low.
Battery Safety Recommendations: We recommend UL 2054 or IEC 62133 certification to enhance consumer confidence.
