NOM certification


The Normas Oficiales Mexicanas logo is a mandatory safety sign in Mexico to indicate that the product is in accordance with the associated NOM standard.The NOM logo applies to most products, including telecommunications and information technology equipment, household electrical appliances, lamps and other products that are potentially dangerous to health and safety.All products manufactured or imported in Mexico must comply with the relevant NOM standards and product labeling requirements.
The product of NOM compulsory certification is generally a voltage over 24 volts alternating current or direct current electrical products.It is mainly applicable to product safety, energy and thermal effect, installation, health and agriculture.The following products must obtain a NOM DE certification to allow access to the Mexican market:
-- electronic or electrical products for use by families, offices and factories;
-- computer LAN (LAN) equipment;
-- lighting fixtures;
-- tires, toys and school supplies;
-- medical equipment;
-- cable and wireless communications products, such as wired telephone and wireless telephone;
-- electrical, propane, natural gas or battery-powered products.
The use of NOM voluntary certification is generally applicable to parts, such as conductors, fuses, lamp holders and ballast, for reference by manufacturers and importers.

CB test reports and certificates
The name, address and contact person of the importer or distributor in the territory of Mexico
Test data, design drawings, specifications and circuit diagrams

Photocopy of the company's authorization letter
Authorization certificate (PowerofAttorney)
