FCC How many ways are the certification procedures?

 FCC provides two main certification procedures: FCC-ID and FCC-SDOC.

FCC-ID mode: specifically for wireless communication devices, such as mobile phones, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless remote control, Bluetooth speaker, tablet computer and other products.

Application procedure:

Market access application: The applicant submits the market access application, including product description, technical specifications and application fee and other information.

Testing and Evaluation: The applicant shall conduct the necessary testing and evaluation according to the FCC regulations to ensure that the product meets the FCC's technical and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.

Application and certification: The applicant shall submit the application materials and test report to the FCC agency and obtain the FCC-ID authorization. The ID will be marked on the product.

Certificate of Compliance: The applicant shall keep relevant documents and records to prove that the product is compliant on the market.

FCC-SDOC mode: suitable for ordinary electronic products without wireless transmission function, such as electronic scale, humidifier, sweeper, electric fan, etc. If the above products do not have wireless function, it can be applied according to FCC-SDOC mode.

application procedure:

The Supplier states that the product meets the FCC technical and electromagnetic compatibility requirements and provides the necessary testing and evaluation reports.

Marking and signing: the supplier shall mark the FCC logo on the product and sign the supplier statement on the relevant documents.

Compliance Certificate: Supplier shall keep relevant documents and records to prove that the product is in the market.
