EU Charger ERP

 On 1 October 2019, the European Union issued the Implementation Measures Regulation (EU) 2019 / 1782 for External Power Adapters to replace (EC) No 278 / 2009.

The new regulations were implemented on April 1,2020.

Compared to (EC) No 278 / 2009, The product application scope of the new regulation adds an external power supply for multi-channel voltage output, The new regulations do not apply to voltage converters, uninterruptible power supplies, battery chargers that do not have power supply functions, lighting converters, external power supplies for medical devices, POE switches, and external power supplies that are only available on the market as service parts or spare parts by April 1,2025, To replace the external power supply of the same model put on the market before April 1,2020 (on this service parts / spare parts, Or on its packaging, Clearly indicate "external power for spare parts only" and intended product).

Charger EU ERP energy efficiency test process:

1. Application: fill in the application form, application company information form, provide the product data and send samples;

2. Quotation: according to the provided data engineer to determine the test standard, the test time and the corresponding cost;

3. Payment: After the applicant confirms the quotation, sign the filing application form and service agreement and pay;

4. Test: The laboratory conducts a full set of tests on the applied products according to the relevant EU testing standards;

5. Pass the test, sort out the qualified data; fail the test, and rectify the products;

6. Completion of the project and the issuance of the EU ERP energy efficiency report.
