UL 60335-2-52 safety standard

UL 60335-2-52 is a safety standard published by the The American Underwriters Lab.

The standard, issued on April 24,2020, details a range of safety requirements to be met during the design, manufacture and use of oral hygiene devices, including, but not limited to, electrical safety, mechanical safety, thermal safety, chemical safety and use instructions and markings.

With the progress of technology and the change of market demand, the UL 60335-2-52 standard will also be timely updated and revised.

For example, in the latest version, there may be additional test requirements for battery-powered products, stability tests of handheld devices on charging seats, drop tests, and mechanical strength tests of detachable power components.
