 What is the UL62368-1?

The UL 62368-1 is the latest international product safety standard, covering audio-visual, consumer electronics and information technology products, and will completely replace the current UL60950-1 and UL60065 in the next few years.

When will the UL 62368-1 be executed?

UL 62368-1 International standards must be legally binding after regional and national adoption announcements.

The mandatory date of the original announcement was extended from June 20,2019 to December 20,2020, which is the mandatory date of the second edition of UL62368-1 and the

abolition date of UL60950-1 and UL 60065.

Note that according to the time determination of put in the market in the EU CE mark, as long as the product is sold, it must comply with the regulations, indicating that the product will not be able to enter the EU market with UL60950-1 and UL60065 standards from December 20,2020.
