Electrostatic discharge

 When the electrostatic charge accumulated in the human body, instrument or equipment will form a discharge path in contact with the electronic product, instantly making the electronic components or system damaged by electrostatic discharge.

So electrostatic discharge is a very important test item in the EMC test. It is divided into direct discharge and indirect discharge.

Direct discharge, that is, using the discharge click to directly discharge the test equipment, which is divided into contact discharge and air discharge.

Indirect discharge, that is, the discharge of the coupling plate near the test equipment, to simulate the discharge of the human body to the object near the test equipment.
