Ultra-Wideband (UWB) devices FCC-ID certification

 For manufacturers producing Ultra-Wideband (UWB) devices, FCC-ID certification serves as the "passport" for entering the North American market, with compliance testing being a critical pre-launch phase.  While UWB technology is widely applied in smart home systems and IoT applications, its wireless signal characteristics necessitate rigorous electromagnetic compatibility testing.


Manufacturers should focus on three testing standards:

One is the spectrum radiation limit

The second is bandwidth and center frequency compliance

Third, transmission power control


It is suggested that manufacturers should contact professional testing institutions in advance and embed compliance design from the research and development stage, so as to identify potential problems such as signal stability and anti-interference ability through pre-test.
