EN50332

EN50332 is divided into two parts, EN5032-1 and EN50332-2 .   A nd EN50332-2 is divided into EN5032-2-1 (player output voltage) and EN5032-2-2 (headset Broadband characteristic voltage test). The EN5032-1 includes the maximum sound pressure level measurement, for the performance of the player and the headset, the EN5032-2 includes two tests of the maximum output voltage and the broadband characteristic output voltage of the headset. Test requirements   of EN50332: 1. The product shall be tested in the silent room to avoid interference from environmental noise. The headphones are mounted on standard artificial ears, and the microphone is mounted to collect the sound of the headphones. Audioanalyser a nalyze and record the maximum sound pressure value (LAeq) for each audio. The standard sound source used in the test is the IEC60268-1. 2. The signal intensity of audio products playing digital signal (CD, DVD, MP3) is - 10dB, and analogue signal cassette is-6dB. The FM radio requi...

UL and IEC security standards

Relative to the international standards, the American UL security standards have their own system, which are very different from the international standards. Nowadays, there are 5 safety standards for household appliances coordinated by UL and IEC, namely: UL 60335-1 (general safety), UL 60335-2-3 (electric iron), UL 60335-2-8 (electric razor, electric shear), UL 60335-2-24 (refrigerator, ice machine), UL 60335-2-34 (motor-compressor) The main differences between the UL standards and the IEC standards are: Different requirements for electric shock protection and fire prevention: IEC standard is based on the AC voltage of 220~240V, the design requirements for electric shock protection are high, that is, the electrical insulation performance and electrical clearance of materials and structures are strict; and the voltage of North American electrical appliances is 110~120V, plus the building structure is mostly wood, so the UL standard in fire protection requirements are relatively ...
