Reference Standard of Salt Spray Test for Power Adapter:
1. GB / T 6461–2002 Rating of specimens after corrosion test of metal and other inorganic overlays on the metal substrate;
2. ISO 10289–1999 Rating of test samples and components of metal and other inorganic overlays on metal parts.
Salt spray test is an accelerated test that takes only a few days, or even hours, to detect how corrosive the power adapter is.
Although the salt spray test is an effective test method.
However, due to many factors affecting corrosion, a single salt spray resistance performance cannot be used as a representative of the performance of other media, so the salt spray test results cannot be used as a direct guide for the corrosion resistance of the tested materials in all environments.
The performance of simultaneous materials in tests cannot be used as a direct guide for corrosion resistance in use.
Nevertheless, the salt spray test method can still be used as a method to test the test material.
