Pet automatic feeders FCC CE UKCA TELEC
Pet automatic feeders are exported to different countries and regions. Enterprises need to carefully understand the certification requirements and processes of the target market before exporting to ensure that the products can enter the market smoothly and meet the relevant regulations and standards. The details are as follows:
1. The United States: FCC certification.
FCC certification is the certification requirement of the Federal Communications Commission for electronic and electrical products entering the U. S. market to ensure that the products do not interfere with the radio spectrum.
In addition, some channels may also require additional environment-related certification, such as CEC or DOE.
2. Europe: CE certification.
CE certification is a mandatory safety certification mark in the European market, indicating that the product meets the relevant directive and standards of the European Union.
For the pet automatic feeders, CE certification usually needs to meet the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility and electronic and electrical safety (LVD), if the product has wireless function, also needs to meet the requirements of radio equipment instructions (RED).
In addition, some channels may also require more environmental-related certification, such as ROHS.
3. UK: UKCA certification.
UKCA certification is a new mandatory certification mark in the UK market, used to replace the position of CE certification in the UK market.
The process and requirements for UKCA certification are similar to those of CE certification, but it should be noted that from 1 January 2023, most products entering the UK market will need to meet the UKCA certification requirements.
4. Japan
TELEC certification is required for automatic pet feeders exported to Japan, especially for wireless products.
TELEC certification is a mandatory certification for wireless products in Japan, similar to the domestic SRRC certification.
TELEC certification follows the Japanese radio wave method, and the specific test specifications follow the relevant regulations of MIC (Ministry of General Affairs, Japan).
For WiFi and Bluetooth products, the test items are similar to the European target EN300 328, but they need to be tested and certified in accordance with specific Japanese regulations.
