Classification of C-tick

C-tick is the electromagnetic compatibility component of Australia, regulated by theAustralia Community Association, and currently only controls the interference part, with the products being enforced from 1 January 1999.

C-TICK Certified Product Classification:

Under the Australian EMC system, the products are divided into three categories. Suppliers must apply for the C-TICK mark before selling the second and third category products.

Class I products: products with low interference radiation for devices using wireless spectrum, such as manual switches, simple relays, one-way cage inductor motor, resistance, etc.

Such products can voluntarily apply for the c-tick mark during production and sale.

Class II products: products with high interference radiation for wireless spectrum equipment, such as switching power supply, welding machine, dimmer, most household appliances, etc.

Class III products: products with very high interference to devices using wireless spectrum, namely products covered by CISPR11 and CISPR22.

Since applicants who apply for the C-TICK mark in ACA are limited to only registered companies in Australia or New Zealand, applications can be made through a buyer in Australia or New Zealand or by a certification body of a branch / partner in Australia or New Zealand.
