What is abrasive resistance

Abrasive resistance testing is the ability of the material to resist mechanical wear.

Under the grinding condition of a certain load weight, the grinding of unit area per unit time.

Expressed by the wear amount of the sample, it is equal to the difference between the pre-grinding mass of the sample and the post-grinding mass divided by the wear area, by the reciprocal of the wear rate or wear degree of the material under the specified friction conditions.

Effect of abrasive resistance testing:

Wear and tear is a common phenomenon in the industrial field and daily life. Many reasons for this phenomenon, physical, chemical and mechanical, mainly abrasive wear, adhesive wear (bonding), fatigue wear (pitting), corrosion wear, which is an important reason for the loss of materials and energy.

Wear problem covers a wide range. 

Material wear resistance as an engineering research, its purpose is the product manufacturing and product production process of wear problems and study how to prevent or reduce the wear process measures and methods.

The history of studying wear and tear is closely linked to the development of tribology.
