Electromagnetic compatibility
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing is a testing process to assess the performance of electronic products in different electromagnetic environments, which is designed to ensure that these devices meet specific electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic sensitivity (EMS) standards.
During EMC test, EMI test is to check whether the electromagnetic interference generated by the equipment exceeds the standard limit, while EMS test is to assess the tolerance level of the equipment to the electromagnetic interference from the outside.
